Back to classic black: Penelope and Monica Cruz model the LBDs from their new clothing collection for high street giants Mango

More than anyone, red carpet regular Penelope Cruz knows the power of the Little Black Dress.

Which is why it takes centrestage in the Hollywood beauty's new collection for Mango.

Designed with sister Monica, 31, the talented star is known for her acting, but is fast becoming better known for her designing skills.

The Hollywood star and her sister Monica appear in their fourth ad campaign for Spanish clothing giant, Mango's Spring/Summer '09 collection showcasing their new limited collection Penélope & Mónica Cruz for MNG.

The Cruz sisters show off their stylish new range of Japanese influenced, kimono styles and blazer-trouser combos.

And the perennial favourite - the LBD - is a highlight of the collection.

Before teaming up with Mango, the actress Penelope modelled for rapper P Diddy's Sean John fashion line and has been a spokesmodel for cosmetics house L'Oreal since 2006.

Penélope was also the face of Ralph Lauren Polo and the designer's Glamorous fragrance during her three year romance with Tom Cruise.
